What we collect
When you send a quote request or plan a project, we receive the details you type (name, phone, email if given, ZIP code, city, project details) and any photos you attach.
How we use it
Only to review your project, contact you about it and prepare a proposal. We don’t sell your information.
Text messages
We text you about your request only if you agree in the form. Reply STOP to opt out.
Floor Visualizer
Your photo is processed in your browser and is not uploaded. If you save previews and add them to a project request, those preview images are sent with the request.
Photos of your project
We show photos of a job on this website only with the client’s permission.
Cookies
This site sets only two cookies of its own, both needed for it to work. “tkn_csrf” protects the forms against forged submissions; it is set when you open a page with a form and lasts 7 days. “tkn_sid” keeps the TKN team and clients signed in to the admin area and the client portal; it is set only when someone signs in and lasts up to 14 days, or until they sign out. Neither can be read by page scripts, both are sent only over a secure connection, and neither is used for advertising or tracking.
Analytics and advertising
Only if you accept them in the notice on this site, we use Google Analytics cookies (such as “_ga”, which Google keeps for up to 2 years) to count visits and see which pages lead to estimate requests. Analytics data is not used to identify you. Until you accept, nothing from Google Analytics loads. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page; your choice is kept in your browser (“tkn_analytics”, local storage). We don’t use advertising cookies.
Browser storage
Two features keep small notes in your own browser instead of cookies. The Text Us buttons remember the ZIP code and details you typed on this site until you close the tab, so the text message can be filled in for you (“tkn-sms”, session storage). The Floor Visualizer keeps the previews you save as favorites until you delete them or clear your browser data (“tkn_vis_favs”, local storage). These notes are not sent to us unless you send a request.
Map
The map on the Contact and home pages is loaded from Google Maps, so Google receives your IP address and browser details when it loads, and Google’s privacy policy applies. When we checked on September 30, 2026, the map did not set any new cookies, but Google may use cookies it already has in your browser.
Social links
The Facebook and Instagram buttons are plain links that open those sites in a new tab. We don’t embed their widgets, so they set no cookies on this site; once you open them, their own policies apply.
