How a replacement works
- At the free visit we check what’s under the current floor and how much prep the subfloor needs
- Removal and disposal of the old floor are charged separately, not included in the installation price, and itemized in your written proposal
- We level and repair the subfloor before installing the new floor
- New hardwood, LVP or laminate, with trim and transitions finished
- Cleanup of the work area when we finish
Cleanup after the flooring work is included in every flooring service. That means we clean the area we worked in when the flooring work is done. It does not cover areas we didn’t work in. Post-construction cleaning is a separate service, with its own scope and written price. About cleanup

Do you haul away the old floor?
Yes, when the job needs it. Removal and disposal of the old floor are charged separately and are not included in the installation price. The cost is itemized in your written proposal. It is separate from the cleanup included with every flooring service.
Can I stay in the house during the replacement?
Usually, yes. We plan the work room by room when possible and tell you in advance which areas will be closed each day.
What if you find damage under the old floor?
We stop, show you what we found and give you the price to fix it in writing. Nothing extra is done without your approval.
