LVP & Laminate Installation in Cary, Apex & Raleigh, NC

Luxury vinyl plank (LVP) and laminate are the practical choice for kitchens, basements, rentals and homes with kids and pets. They only perform well when the subfloor is flat and the expansion gaps are right, so that’s where we start.

Why people choose LVP and laminate

  • Kitchens, laundry rooms and basements where water resistance matters
  • Rentals and listings that need durable floors on a budget
  • Pets and kids that are hard on hardwood
  • Wanting the look of wood without the upkeep

How we install LVP and laminate

  1. We check the subfloor for flatness and moisture at the free visit
  2. High spots are ground down and low spots filled before installation
  3. Correct underlayment and expansion gaps for the product you choose
  4. Clean cuts around doors, cabinets and vents, with trim and transitions finished
  5. Cleanup of the work area when we finish

Cleanup after the flooring work is included in every flooring service. That means we clean the area we worked in when the flooring work is done. It does not cover areas we didn’t work in. Post-construction cleaning is a separate service, with its own scope and written price. About cleanup

What does it cost?

Every home is different: the product you choose, the size and layout, the subfloor, and stairs all change the price. Removal and disposal of the old floor are charged separately and itemized in your proposal. After the free visit you get a written price, and nothing starts until you approve it.

From assessment to final cleanup

From your photos to a finished, clean floor. You see the price in writing before any work starts.

LVP & Laminate: common questions

More questions

LVP or laminate: which should I choose?

Most LVP handles water better; laminate often feels closer to real wood underfoot. We explain the trade-offs for each room at the visit.

Can LVP go over my existing floor?

Sometimes. It depends on the current floor and how flat it is. We check at the visit and tell you what’s safe for the warranty of the product.

Is LVP really waterproof?

Many LVP products are water-resistant on the surface, but water can still get under the floor at the edges. We explain what the manufacturer covers for the product you choose.
